Key Initiatives – Covid-19 Crisis Management
- Continuous interaction with members to take stock of the situation and provide timely support.
- High intensity engagement with DFS, FM, PMO, Health Ministry and Home Ministry to transmit operational challenges and advocate corrective measures i.e., inclusion of BCs under essential services, Prioritization for vaccination, Covid relief to agents and citizens.
- Constant collaboration with all Banks, RBI, NABARD and IBA ensuring uninterrupted services on the ground and advocating for relief measures such as medical & life Insurance for agents, incentives and relaxations for business continuity and reimbursement of sanitization costs.
- Regular communication with State and District level authorities ensuring cooperation with respect to delivery of banking services and seeking necessary support for smooth operations and vaccination of BC agents and staff for vaccination.
BCFI is Member of FICCI and also a Special Invitee on Steering Committees of NPCI.
